The reserve

Whilst not a Big 5 reserve we have much more to offer. Our wildlife, which includes leopard, hyena, giraffe, eland, sable, oribi, blesbok and many other species, roam freely across extensive river frontages, permanent wetlands and streams, riverine forestation, gorges, savannah plains, rocky outcrops, and majestic cliffs. It is always special to spot the honey badgers and porcupines, notwithstanding over 302 bird species,

The reserve is a proclaimed protected area due to the irreplaceable bio-diversity status partly attributed to the cycad populations, over 100 grass species, red data fauna and flora and rock art.

OUR MISSION IS THE CONTINUED ERADICATION OF ALL ALIEN AND INVASIVE FLORA AND THE CONSERVATION OF THIS IRREPLACEBLE LAND FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS.
