Cecelia’s Holiday Manor is a beautiful 3 bedroom, pet friendly beachfront cottage nestled in the coastal village of Zinkwazi on the North-Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. The beachfront cottage is ideal for the families visting the North Coast of KZN.

The cottage can sleep 6-8 guests. We have ample parking in the property. The beachfront cottage is pet friendly and ideal for families travelling with children and pets. Slow pace and close to nature is the best way to describe Zinkwazi Beach. We have the best of both lagoon and beach. The beachfront cottage has direct access to the beach from the garden. The sundeck offers spectacular breaker waves and ocean views. The cottage has a private swimming pool and an extensive garden. A lovely place for children to play and relax with family. The beachfront cottage is ideal for long lunches and meeting up with family who lives in Durban. We love seeing family members visit and you are welcome to invite family members over to spend the day.

The beauty of both the lagoon and beach

While staying at this lovely beachfront holiday home, the whole family can spend time together on the beach, one of nature’s most beautiful playgrounds, whilst getting exercise – walking, playing with a ball, beach cricket, swimming etc. and the best part, making memories wrapped up in love.  Otherwise just enjoy and relax on the sand with a lovely book whilst the kids build a sandcastle overlooking the beachfront.

The Lagoon is ideal for water sports and ski boats that provide a lovely afternoon’s entertainment for everyone. Rent a canoe and enjoy the afternoon on the lagoon or laze on the beach. The local skipper can assist with a a sundowner cruise on the lagoon. A magical way to experience the village. The ski boat club assist with all water sports and boat mooring enquiries.

When visiting Zinkwazi Beach House, don’t forget to pack sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, umbrellas, goggles, after sun, buckets, spades, boogie boards, fishing nets, something for blue bottles – Some items we also keep at the beach house and our local store is well stocked with beach supplies.

Beach tip:  Baby (talc)powder is a fantastic way of getting sand off your body.  Perfect for cleaning feet before getting into the car.

Child Friendly and Pets are Welcome!

Children especially enjoy the beauty of this self-catering beachfront cottage.  The freedom of playing in the garden, swimming and spending fun filled days on the beach collecting shells and all sorts to take home, and going down the sand dunes with their boogie boards, great fun for the whole family and good exercise comes free.  Our very faithful helper Doris is there to assist with the kids where you need her. She can prepare breakfast and assist with meals where needed. We also have a cook on call that can come and assist with all meals should this be a requirement to make your beachfront holiday more relaxing.

Activities and Attractions in Zinkwazi

Zinkwazi Beach House is self-catering beachfront accommodation based in the town of Zinkwazi Beach which is a cosy fishermen’s village. We have the magical Indian Ocean at our doorstep and the lagoon which is great for water sport enthusiasts. A booze cruise is available on the lagoon provided by local skipper Bryan who can also arrange fishing charters. For fishing enthusiast, the Zinkwazi beach club is situated on the beach.

Safety and security first:

Zinkwazi Beach has one street, which we use to enter and exit the town. This point is security controlled. We also have visible security in the town and our beaches are also patrolled.
