Fagala Voet is presenting the 2nd Hiking Outdoor Expo which will be held on 4, 5 and 6 Sept 2026.
Please make sure you read all info as it’s there for mishaps to be avoided and answer any questions you may have.
We are looking for anything hiking related, hiking trails, hiking clubs, hiking gear, food, apparel etc as well as any camping or outdoor gear as well as some trail running vendors and pet products or pet outdoor products.

- Friday, 12:00 – 18:00
- Saturday, 08:00 – 18:00
- Sunday, 08:00 – 14:00
Hiking Start Times:
- Saturday, 06:30 – 09:00
- Sunday, 06:30 – 09:00
- No hikers will be allowed to start hiking after 09:00.
- Trails which will be available to hike the weekend will be, Kiepersol, Peglerae and Denaneni Trails.
2023 Expo Update
We had our first expo in 2023 and although small, it turned out to be a great success and everyone was very excited this event started.
We had plans in place for our second expo to be in 2024 but due to unforeseen circumstance we had to cancel and due to the immense planning, it takes, our 2nd one will only be in 2026.
A refresher on our numbers for 2023, we expected 450 for Saturday and 400 showed up, Sunday was a different story as only 150 tickets scanned in, and this is due to the Boks winning the World Cup the Saturday and therefore our numbers dwindled a lot as 250 tickets were sold for Sunday.
We really hope and aim to get at least 1000 – 1500 hikers over the 3 days, this number is always just an estimate. We hope to make up these numbers by arranging a Trail Run Event on the Saturday which will bring in more feet for the Saturday.
2026 Expo Vendor Info
Stand Info
The stand sizes are all 3m x 3m big but please contact us so we can discuss a reduced rate for a bigger stand if needed.
The stand rate is for all 3 days.
This is a self-setup expo. Own gazebo, promotional gear, leads, plugs for own account, to keep cost of stands down. Your stand should be clearly visible with your companies or products logo, so the public and other vendors can identify who you are, or what you sell.
There will be electrical points at certain points at the venue, and this will be indicated on the expo floor plan and layout. If a table and chairs are needed please contact us so we can discuss this at there are limited table and chairs and we prefer keeping them for vendors coming from outside of Gauteng.
There is accommodation available at De Wildt Cheetah Lodge, and this should be booked directly with De Wildt Cheetah Lodge. Please contact Bertie, on 083 336 3913 to book.
Stand Sizes:
The venue is measured out in 3m x 3m stands, if you require a bigger stand, please inquire with us so we can work out a reduced rate.
Stand Rate:
- R2700.00 for all 3 days.
Hiking Clubs and NPO’s:
- R1700.00 for all 3 days.
- Please note we will need your NPO registration number in order to qualify for this reduced rate.
Setup Info:
- Setup date will be for Thursday, 3 Sept 2026, from 07:00 and throughout the rest of the day. All stands MUST be setup by 3 Sept 2026.
- NO VENDOR will be allowed to setup on the morning of the expo; this is due to safety reasons laid out by the fire department.
- If you have any stock that you would like to store during the expo at the venue, please make sure this is arranged in advance so we can make arrangements for this.
- Breakdown of your stand will be at 14:00 on Sunday 6 Sept 2024 only.
Accommodation Info:
- De Wildt Aventure Trails has lovely lodge and Safari Tents which is available to our vendors to book.
- The accommodation is 5km away from the venue.
- The rooms are setup as follow:
- Kiepersol, family room. 2 x single beds (of king) en 2 x ¾ beds.
- Peglerae, double room. 2 x single beds (of king).
- Wilde Hond, double room. 3 single beds (of king en single).
- Bruin Hyena, double room. 1 x queen bed (for a couple).
- Dinaneni, family room. 3 x single beds (of king en single).
- 3 x Safari Tents, sleeping each 2 – 4 guests.

Payment / Cancellations TC’s:
- 25% Non-refundable deposit is payable upon receiving an invoice from us.
- Full payment is due 30 July 2026 for all vendors.
- 30 Days before expo date – 100% loss
- 60 Days before expo date – 75% loss
- 90 Days before expo date – 50% loss
- 120 Days before expo date – 25% loss
Ticket Info:
- Adults – R110.00
- Pensioners – R90.00
- Kids 6 – 12 Years – R70.00
- Kids 0 – 5 Years – Free
- Expo Hike Package – R130.00 – Includes hike and expo entrance.
Sponsorship / Prizes:
Our goodie bags were an absolute hit last year and we are looking to do another one this year. If you are a company that is interested in sponsoring samples, please get in contact with us.
The prizes and discount vouchers that were sponsored last year were absolutely great and we are looking to get more for this year. If you want to sponsor a prize or discount voucher, please get in contact with us.
Side Notes:
We know that last minute changes and amendments do happen, and we do try and accommodate all of them but it’s just sometimes not possible.
We will have a cut of date for these minor changes and amendments so that this does not put more pressure on us than there already are.
