Serendipity Eco Trails is situated on a private game farm Tierkloof, in the district of Mookgopong (Naboomspruit), Limpopo Province,140 km from Pretoria.

We specialize in: 4X4, Enduro Two-Wheeler, Mountain bike and Hiking Trails, set out over 2000 hectares of mountainous bush veld with a variety of game…

The trails stretch over an unusual combination of valleys, gorges, Savannah and mountain streams. Rock pools with crystal clear water, indigenous forest, waterfalls, and panoramic views of the Waterberg await you. A large variety of trees, abundant bird life and game can be seen and enjoyed while either flying by, adrenaline pumping, or just slowly taking on the challenge.

Lodge:

Rivercamp:

We have River camps 1, 2, and 3. All three camps have hot water showers; flush toilets; own braai & scullery; tap; rubbish bin; table and bench; ELECTRICAL POINTS at campsites.
HIKERS REMEMBER: If you camp for 1 night you have to pay the additional hiking permit fee of R150-00 for the hiking trail.

Hiking Trail:

Basecamp Option:

You can start and finish from Tierkloof and/or Bush Baby Camp and sleep both nights in the same camp. All trails are clearly marked, and all options/ turn-offs are well sign posted.

The 13km option will take you pass beautiful cascades, a picnic spot and a big rock pool to swim in.

The 5km trail is a stunning option for bird lovers and game viewing. It takes you pass beautiful cascades in a deep gorge.

Backpack Option:

(Start and finish from Lodge or Villa)
Min 6, Max 12
Day 1: Hikers start from Lodge,Villa or Lapaside and hike to Tierkloof. On day 1 hikers can choose to do 13km or 20km.
Day 2: Hikers do the new 5km trail back to Villa, lodge or Lapaside.

Pertinent Information:

All vehicles pay a once off entrance fee because this is a Private Nature Reserve.
All vehicles NOT bringing in any 2 Wheeler’s will need to pay this fee.
Recovery is R350.00 per hour, no recovery after 6pm.
7-9 Kg Bundles Firewood available @ R 20 per bundle
