Our 66 hotel rooms, individually furnished in an informal elegant style, with all the modern comforts to relax after a day of business, sightseeing, golf, or safaris will make you feel at home.

With our all en-suite standard, luxury, twin, and family hotel rooms there is a wide choice to suit your budget and style.

All our rooms are en-suite and non-smoking, as well as hotel accommodation for the physically disabled. To add to our extensive range of accommodation we also have a presidential suite and a dedicated honeymoon suite.  Our large spacious rooms are furnished with taste and elegance and are equipped for maximum comfort including hypo allergic pillows. All our rooms offer a variety of garden or pool views.

You have chosen the ideal base to explore what the Northern Lowveld has to offer you. Tzaneen Country Lodge are the hub of the Limpopo Lowveld and Drakensburg Mountain Range.

We are the centre of major tropical fruit farms, forests, game farms and game reserves.

The Drakensburg which begins in the Eastern Cape ends here. The Soutpansberg Mountains are 90kms away and the Kruger Park 45 minutes.

The largest portion of the Kruger is at our doorstep, the greatest area of private game reserves, both small and gigantic, are our neighbours.

We lie at the foothills of the mountains that rise 1500 meters in 30 kilometres.

Enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the bush as you explore nature on your own, setting your own pace. The 5 hiking trails, varying from 0.3km to 4km are situated across from Tzaneen Country Lodge are well marked and it caters to all fitness stages.

Tzaneen Country Lodge Bush Drive

Allow our Game Ranger to take you on a 2-hour drive on Tzaneen Country Lodge farm.
You get to see Giraffe’s, Zebras and most “Planes Game” or even spot the elusive Caracal spoor.
Morning Drive includes Freshly brewed coffee with homemade rusks.
Evening Drive includes a Sundowner drink and snack.

Tzaneen Country Lodge Barge Trip

Take a cruise on Rohan’s dam where our Skipper treats you to the calls of our birdlife.
The tour includes a complimentary sundowner drink and snack.

Tzaneen Country Lodge Bush Picnic

Spoil yourself with this tranquil experience away from the rustle and bustle of life, by having a Rustic Outdoor picnic. The Picnic spot overlooks Rohan’s dam where you are guaranteed to see the occasional fish jump in the water and hear the call of the African Fish Eagle.
