The next Hiking Outdoor Expo will be held from 4 – 6 Sept 2026 and will be held again at De Wildt Adventure Trails.

Friday, 12:00 – 18:00
Saturday, 08:00 – 18:00
Sunday, 08:00 – 14:00

Day Trails

Trails that can be hiked in a day.

Basecamp Trails

Overnight at the same accommodation and hike the day trails on the farm or establishment.

Backpack Trails

Trails that are hiked over multiple days carrying all or most of the things you might need in a backpack.

Slackpack Trails

There are different slackpacking options:
Catered slackpacking
Self-catering slackpacking
Wilderness slackpacking
Uncatered slackpacking

Wine Walks

This one is self-explanatory…

Long Distance Trails

Trails that are either 3 days or longer.

Wilderness Trails

Trails that are hiked and overnighted in the wilderness.

Pet Friendly Trails and Stays

Trails and accommodation where your furr children are allowed.
