About Us

Pecan Farm Guest House is situated on a farm which lies in a lovely, lush valley in the foothills of the Soutpansberg Mountain range.  The property is set 21km from Hangklip Forest Reserve, 31km from Ben Lavin Nature Reserve, 117km from Punda Maria Kruger National Park gate and 181km from Mapungubwe National Park.  Pecan Farm Guesthouse is situated centrally to Vendaland.

Our proximity to Louis Trichardt (a town close by) makes it easy for comprehensive sport facilities to be accessed.  There are various places that can be visited that surrounds us, including The Kruger National Park, hiking trails in Venda around Louis Trichardt or just views of the landscapes that surrounds us.

Entabeni State Forest is 16km which boasts five different ecosystems within one reserve and promises solid big game viewing and rewarding bird watching.

Louis Trichardt Golf Club is also nearby, only 19.2km from our farm, situated at the foot of the Soutpansberg Mountain in Louis Trichardt, Limpopo.

The property offers garden views, an outdoor pool, walking trails and birdwatching (bird guides can be arranged in advance).

Pecan Farm Guesthouse provides allergy-free rooms, a shared lounge, fee Wi-Fi throughout the property and a garden.

All the rooms have external glass sliding doors leading into a beautiful garden.  All the rooms are fully furnished to the highest standards.  Each room has DSTV, mini bar fridge, coffee and tea making facilities, hospitality tray, fee Wifi, laundry, hairdryer (on request) and all the necessary equipment to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Our bathrooms are all furnished with separate bath and showers, fully serviced with towels and toiletries.

Natural beauty spots that are also nearby are Levubu River and Albasini Dam.

We therefore kindly request that you vacate your room on the day of departure by this time.  Later check-out times (if possible) can be arranged at an extra cost.

Continental and full English breakfast is served in the restaurant.
Breakfast times are from 07h00 – 09h00
If you are leaving early, please arrange for a packed breakfast in advance.

Dinner is served at 18h30 – 19h00
Please arrange for dinner at least 1 day prior to arrival.

We have 2 walking trails
We only allow walking trails to inhouse guests.
Pecan walking trail (on the farm) 4km – Not guided
Piesanghoek walking trail (farm opposite of guesthouse) still owned by our owner 26km – guided with one of our staff members.
